It has been my privilege, having been a Bible teacher in Talbot School of Theology, and now The Master’s Seminary, to hear E.Z. preach in a church setting. He comes across as confident in a restfulness in Christ, choosing words graphically, using vivid illustrations that touch listeners, and having a ‘cutting edge’ facility to give the ‘good news’ as well as make excellent sense in answering common, misguided objections to help those who need Christ. He speaks out of the Lord’s gift in fluent, winsome, clear, and compelling defense of Christian convictions.
