All Academy leaders and participants are encouraged to maintain their theological, denominational, and philosophical distinctives while extending grace to others who may not agree with them on every point in these spiritual areas. While there are appropriate times and places for Christians to lovingly discuss finer points of theology, theological debate is not tolerated during the Ambassadors’ Academy. Our focus at the Ambassadors’ Academy is very narrow: training and encouraging brothers and sisters in Christ to present the biblical gospel. We expect all those who participate in the Ambassadors’ Academy to come away from the experience changed—not changed from Calvinist to Arminian, from non-charismatic to charismatic, from Baptist to Presbyterian, etc. The expectation is that every participant will be changed—to have a deeper love for Jesus Christ, for His Word, for their Christian brethren, and especially for the lost, and to be better equipped to reach them. This philosophy of ministry has worked well for Living Waters and the Ambassadors’ Academy, keeping us focused on the call of the Great Commission.
