This is a vital message for the modern Church out of Revelation 3 and Matthew 9. Is there any direct command in Scripture that tells us to pray for the salvation of sinners? We’ve made revival such a sovereign thing that we no longer act, but merely pray and then leave it up to God. Prayer is the breath of the body but evangelism is its life’s blood. One cannot survive without the other.
