Talk show president? That’s a title I never wanted. Actually, I wouldn’t want to be the president of anything. My mind boggles at the decisions presidents have to make—decisions that can radically affect human lives. But whether it’s the president of a company or President of the United States, what they decide is confined to this life.
Important though these worldly decision-makers may be, they don’t make decisions that affect eternity. Ours do. Your determination to hand a stranger a gospel tract can have eternal repercussions. Do you believe that?
Whether we believe it or not, the most menial of us Christians has the sobering responsibility of dealing with eternity. In other words, we have a job that is more important than that of the President of the United States. Knowing this will help us to use our time, our resources, and our words, wisely.
So never put down the fact that you’re not a prominent leader. The world is full of important leaders who are doing nothing but the blind leading the blind. But God has opened the eyes of your understanding. You’re no longer blind. You can lead sinners into the knowledge of everlasting life.
But your zeal will be fueled by the depth of your love, and love will daily consider the terrible fate of the ungodly. It is that sobering fact that will help you to overcome your fears. And fears you will fight if you determine to share your faith.
That’s why we have produced season five of Way of the Master. We want to help you overcome the lies that fear whispers to your heart. We want every valley in your life to be filled, and every mountain to be made low, because nothing should hinder sinners from coming to the Lord. Especially not your fears.
Please join us as we equip soldiers of Christ in the greatest of all battles, so that you can make your days count.
Season five debuts on dozens of TV and On Demand outlets starting next Sunday. (Various networks will air the first episode between July 28—August 3. Times and stations will soon be announced on the website.) Help spread the word and tune in with the whole family.
