When taking certain Bible verses out of context, some may attempt to claim that eternal life can be purchased; however, the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.

I’ve always been horrified that anyone could kill a child in the womb. Back in 1983, I was sickened when I found out that a new convert in our church named Fran was planning to have an abortion. I was even more shocked when I learned the procedure was scheduled for that very afternoon.
I found out where it was happening and drove six miles into town. I ran up the stairs to her hospital room and found her sitting on the bed, having already taken her pre-op medication.
““Please, don’t do this!” She smiled and said, “It’s okay. I’m not going to have an abortion. I just prayed, ‘God, if you don’t want me to have an abortion, make Ray Comfort come up and see me.’””
On the way there, I rehearsed what I’d say. But when I saw her, I didn’t know what to do—except blurt out, “Please, don’t do this!”
She smiled and said, “It’s okay. I’m not going to have an abortion. I just prayed, ‘God, if you don’t want me to have an abortion, make Ray Comfort come up and see me.’”
Two years later, at a church picnic, I saw a little girl playing on the grass. She was the child who was going to be aborted. I bent down and looked her in the eyes—and it struck me what God had done that day.
Fast forward to the year 2000. I was in Aranui, a suburb in New Zealand, teaching Hell’s Best Kept Secret to a crowd of about 200 people. Afterward, several folks came up to the book table. One of them was an 18-year-old woman. It was Fran’s beautiful daughter. I can’t talk about meeting her without tears in my eyes.
Thanks mainly to our billionaire friends, about 200,000 DVD copies of 180 were distributed to college students at more than 100 universities across the U.S., Canada, and New Zealand during a coordinated campus outreach in late 2011. By 2014, over one million DVDs had either been given away or sold worldwide.
The sweet icing on the cake? It conveyed a clear gospel message.
