Praise The Lord! A great read that needs to be placed in the hand of so many Pastors. I was reminded of a book that I read earlier this year. Keeping the 10 Commandments by J.I.Packer. Packer reveals three uses of god’s Law. “First, to maintain order in society. Second, to convince us of sin and drive us to Christ for life. Third, to spur us on to obedience.” Mr. Comfort has very eloquently revealed how we are to witness and follow Christ’s example in fulfilling The Great Commision!

An excellent resource and made me say hmmm a lot. I have numerous Ray Comfort books, most of which I have ordered on my Kindle. However, this little jewel of a book was too tempting to pass up while I was ordering tracts. It’s poignant and thought-provoking. I love Ray’s writing style, as he doesn’t sugar-coat things. I appreciated this book’s excellent quality in the content- it is very well written and short which is nice too.
However, what I most appreciate is this book does not slam anyone or any ministry for unbiblical Gospel presentation. Ray simply shows the Biblical Gospel in contrast to the modern gospel presentation that is present virtually everywhere in our culture. He does not name names and thus start friendly fire. SUPER IMPRESSED.

People who go to some churches have been taught they must “bind Satan”. Many people. That’s like telling them they have to throw a rope around the moon! And there is no remedy for this difficulty.
Here, Ray Comfort writes the stark truth about our standing in the sight of a Holy God who expects, no commands us, to be holy even as He Himself is Holy. Holy? What does that mean? There is a black and white answer. No, I mean an answer written in black and white in the pages of your Bible, be it a paper and leather type or an electronic type. Flip to Exodus 20:3-17 and read it. We’ve all heard from some well meaning Christian “Oh, that’s the OLD Testament. That doesn’t apply to us.”. What they do not know is that in this they have been gravely (meaning the grave) deceived! Read this book to find out what this is about, and best of all, it’s ultimate remedy!

I want to just say that this book sparked a revival. I read the book and sent a pdf copy to my friend Frank, who wrote about tracts here. We went on to work together passing out tracts, starting a ministry & a website. We are now working on getting into local churches to inform them that Christians can truly share their faith with a gospel tract during everyday activities. We are starting a revival of Christians sharing their faith and to the lost who need Jesus!
